Steppit is used by a variety of creators, and so we offer a few different ways to add learners to your courses. In general, enrollment limits only apply if you are planning to create classes for your courses and need to add learners to these via email or integrations. If that’s your specific case, you’ll have a number of enrolments per month included in your Pro plan, and you can also purchase more in the platform if needed. If this use case doesn’t apply to you, then you don’t have to worry about any enrollment limits.

When someone purchases a space on your course directly through the Steppit platform, a small share of the revenue goes to Steppit so that we can take away some of the costs and time-consuming tasks you’d otherwise face when selling to people around the world.

Every time a learner buys a space on your course, there are direct costs associated with payment processing, calculating sales taxes according to the learner’s place of residence, and filing sales taxes with the appropriate government agencies. Selling online courses to a global audience can quickly become a complicated business, and we want to take all of this hassle off your plate so that you can focus on creating and running quality courses. With Steppit, your revenue share is transferred directly to your connected Stripe account after every sale (with VAT, sales taxes and processing fees already taken care of) allowing you to keep your business simple and straightforward.

The size of your revenue share will vary depending on the Pro plan you choose, with our Scale plan giving you the highest share.

Each Pro plan gives you access to monthly AI credits you can use to make the most of your personal AI assistant. You will be able to use them to generate a course from scratch, improve your existing content, and unlock other tools within the platform.

To give you an idea of how you could use your AI credits, it takes 100 credits to generate a full course plan, 50 credits to create a session plan, and most caption and auto-generation tools cost 10 credits per use. The higher the Pro plan you choose, the more flexibility you will have to use your AI assistant to build and iterate on your content. You also have the option to purchase further AI credit packs should you run low.

If you want to top up your enrolments or AI credits beyond the monthly amounts given in your Pro plan, you can purchase refill packs at any time. The bigger the pack you purchase, the more you'll save per enrollment or credit:

Enrollment Packs

• 10 enrolments – $15 ($1.50 per enrollment)
• 50 enrolments – $60 ($1.20 per enrollment)
• 200 enrolments – $210 ($1.05 per enrollment)
• 500 enrolments – $450 ($0.90 per enrollment)

AI Credit Packs

• 1,000 credits – $5 ($0.50 per 100 credits)
• 5,000 credits – $20 ($0.40 per 100 credits)
• 20,000 credits – $70 ($0.35 per 100 credits)
• 50,000 credits – $150 ($0.30 per 100 credits)

To purchase a pack for your Pro channel, you can head to Admin > Pro Subscriptions.

There are many ways to share your content after you've published it:

1. Sell directly on Steppit via Stripe: If you want to open your course for sale to the public (and you live in a country where Stripe is available), then you can enroll unlimited learners by selling directly through Steppit. Once your course is published, anyone will be able to purchase a place on it directly through your branded Steppit-hosted channel.

2. Enroll via email invites: If you aren’t looking to sell courses, or can’t sell via Steppit due to Stripe’s unavailability in your country, you’re also able to manually enroll learners via email invites. This is where the enrollment limits in our Pro plans come into place, and our different options accommodate different needs.

3. Enroll via Zapier integrations: If you already have an online store, or want to enroll students based on custom requirements (like when someone joins your membership service, or buys an associated product), our Zapier integration allows you to enroll students according to custom rules and triggers. As with example #2 above, our enrollment limits apply.

4. Share via a link: If you’re not interested in selling your courses and just want to openly share access to course content, you can simply generate a link to access your course for free. No limits apply in this case.

5. Embed on your website: If you want to host individual sessions on your website, or anywhere else embedding is possible, our Pro Growth and Scale plans allow you to do this. This is also unlimited, and you don’t have to worry about enrollment limits.

English is currently our only officially supported language.

If you live in a Stripe-supported country, Steppit makes it easy for you to create and connect a dedicated Stripe account for your Steppit channel, which will allow you to sell places for your courses directly on Steppit and get paid weekly to your personal or business bank account.

With Pro, you can connect your channel to 5,000+ apps via Zapier. By setting up Zaps inside the Steppit platform, you will be able to integrate with all your favorite tools, automate repetitive tasks without writing code, and build custom workflows to save time.

Here are a few examples of the things you’ll be able to do:

• Enroll learners in your Steppit classes whenever someone buys from your Shopify store or joins your Patreon.
• Get a Slack message or email notification every time someone completes one of your sessions or courses.
• Add new course purchases to a Google Sheet to keep track of your sales.
